A HOUSE BLESSING
YOU WILL NEED: Sea salt Spring water Incense White candle Broom Sweep your house and discard the dust outside your home. Starting from the East, carry the incense around the inner perimeter of your house and say: "Powers of thr Air, cleanse my home of any negativity" Imagine the incense absorbing all negativity and spiralling out of your home. When you are done...say Thank You. Then continue with the candle for the powers of Fire, the water(sprinkle) for Water, and the sea salt for Mother Earth. In each turn, visualize the elemental banishing all negativity from your home. You'll know you're done when your home shines with a white blinding light or feels right to you. Don't forget to thank the elementals for their help



Witches Bottles
A Witches Bottle with a narrow, long neck, into which magickally charged objects are placed. Generally used to trap negative energy, they act as an active encouragement of attacks.
Thread bottle
Good for confusing theives or burglers so they won't get into your house. needed: 1 long-necked clear bottle and some thread leavings, none longer than two inches.
Fill the bottle with thread pieces over time. Do not purposly cut them to put in the bottle, but pieces left over from sewing or something. When the bottle is full, raise energy and charge the bottle, then place it in a window.


Sand Trap Bottle
Good for keeping negative people from coming into your home. needed: 1 long-necked bottle, clean dry sand and some splinters of rowan or oak Raise energy and charge the sand with intent to protect and to suck down negative energy. Raise anergy and charge the splinters with the intent that they defend against intruders.
Carefully fill the jar 1/3 full of sand and 1/3 full of splinters. So now it should be 2/3 full. After you put in the splinters, pour some more charged sand in the jar and cap it tightly. say:
Into the sand, may it suck you down If ever you should intrude my house Defend against foes, splinters of wood But to my friends bring only good. Set the jar in a corner near the door.


Home Protection Spell Bottle
This spell is from the Book "Spell Crafts" by Scott Cunningham and David Harrington. They say that this spell should be walled up in a new home under construction or placed under the floor boards. If this is immpossible place it in a place of importance somewhere in your home.
Needed:
1 bottle with cork stopper,
1/2 to 1 cup of salt,
3 cloves of garlic,
9 bay leaves,
7tbs. dried basil,
4 tbs. dill seeds,
1 tbs. sage,
1 tbs. anise,
1 tbs. black pepper,
1 tbs. fennel,
and 1 bowl.
In the morning, idealy on a bright and sunny day, bring together all of the items. Place the salt in the bowl and say:

"Salt that protects, protect my home and all within it."
Add the rest of the ingredients, one by one, saying the above phrase. Just change the first word to whatever herb you are putting next. Mix together the herbs with the salt with your hands and fingers, lead energy to the potent protective items. Visualize your home as a shining, safe, guarded, secure place of santuary. Pour the mixture into the jar. Seal tightly and place into your home with the following words,
"Salt and herbs, nine times nine Guard now this home of mine."


Pet Protection Spell
It is also very important to remember your pets. This spell will help keep them safe. For each animal you will need: 1 six inch piece of square black felt, fabric paints and brush, a clipping of hair or stray feathers from your pet, 2 teaspoons of dried cedar, 1 bay leaf, 2 teaspoons of catnip(even if you have a dog), 1 teaspoon of comfrey, 1/4 teaspoon of dried garlic,1 teaspoon of heather, Protection or guardian oil, cotton and a thread and needle.
Fold the piece of black felt in half and sew two sides of it, leaving one side open. On one side of the little bag, paint your pets name and the runes: Algiz, Koad; the Forest Rune; the Pentacle and the Goddess Rune. Let it dry. Raise energy on the herbs to empower them and then pour them into the pouch. Add the clipping of pet hair or the feathers and then stuff the rest with cotton to which you have added a few drops of the Protection or guardian oil. Sew the remaining side of the pouch closed. Cast a circle, invoke the elements and the Lord and Lady.
Say: "O Gracious Lord and Lady, Protector of all creatures who walk upon this Earth. Guard my (pet species and name) against harm and illness. Watch over him/her with every step he/she takes. Help me protect protect him/her and strengthen the connection of love between us. Let this charm be blessed, to hold the energy of protection. Blessed be." Keep the bag in a safe place, perhaps on your alter where the animal can't get to it. renew this charm every six months. Remember a spell is good to back up the protection you are already giving them, like keeping up with their vacinations, giving them plenty of food, water, and love.


Gold Money Bags
For best effect, keep the bag with your checkbook or where you keep your bills or invoices.
Take 2 pieces of gold cloth and using green thread, sew them together in a pouch. Fill with equal parts of: Rosemary, Sage, Lavender, Ginseng, Mandrake and fern. Then add one piece each of: Jade and Peridot. Also add: a folded dollar bill and a penny, nickle dime and a quarter.
Sew the bag shut. Set the bag in sunlight and sprinkle lightly with a few drops of Sun Water. Let the sun warm the material.
Raise energy and charge the bag saying:
I call on the Spirits of prosperity and the Spirit of the Sun to infuse this charm with the power to attract abindance and prosperity into my life. Let my wallet fill with money, let my checking account over-flow with money, let my old depts be paid easily and without strain, let my health be robust, let my cupboards fill with good food. Let my life be rich like the golden sunlight. So mote it be.


Finding a Job
Herbal charms kept in your purse or pocket are good ways to carry magick with you during interviews. Sprinkle a little sage, lavender, dill, basil and parsley into a green cloth and add a tiger's eye chip. Tie with a golden ribbon. Carry this to magnitize prosperity while you radiate wisdom and knowledge. Take home applications whenever posible and after you have filled them out, charge them with the intent of drawing the right position to you.
Draw or paint the runes Ansuz, Tir and Mannaz over your heart (with something non-toxic) before you get dressed to go to an interview. Allow to dry and maybe put a t-shirt or slip between you and the shirt incase it stains a little. These runes enable clear communication and will encourage others to come to your aid. These runes drawn on the phone will invite good news to come over the wire.
Never forget to tell everyone that you are looking for a job and check back at places you applied at. Remember all the magick in the world won't help you if you don't put forth some effort!!


Chango Macho Money Spell
Chango Macho is the Cubam-African god of wealth and business. Apples, cinnamon and coconut are all foods that attract his energy. You can eat these foods to make yourself powerful in business and to build good character. It is customary to leave these foods as offerings for Chango on an alter. Simply clear a space on a table or countertop and cover it with a red or red and white table cloth. These are colors for Chango. Light a red taper candle and place the apples, coconut and cinnamon before it. After one week you may remove the food and dispose of it. Also Chango loves a good cigar, light a cigar and blow the smoke over the food. Many supermarkets still sell tobaco. check it out. A good thing is to get money and it isn't hard, the hard thing is holding onto it.


Weather Spells:
On the altar arrange two candles, one red on the right for the Gods, jasmine incense in the middle, and white candle to the left for the goddess. Put four candles of green to represent the four winds. Light the two altar candles and the incense. Open the circle and start the chant. As you call upon the Gods of the four winds light the candles one at a time.
I call up the God and Goddess from above to bring to me your labor of love.
Bring to me almight ones, rain and clouds to block the sun.
I call up Brontes the God of thunder to bring for the your noise.
I call upon the God Steropes to send forth your lightning.
I call upon Ganymede, cup bearer to the Gods, to sprinkle our part of the earth with rain.

The Bottle Spell
Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical harm, or hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your security.
You Will need:
4 tbsps Frankincense or Myrrh
4 tbsps Black powdered Iron
4 tbsps Sea Salt
4 tbsps Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)
1 white candle
1 bottle with a cork or lid
Mortar and pestle
Parchment Paper
Black Ink or black ballpointpen
Black thread
Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black ink:
I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.
So mote it be!
Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients. Then take the white candle and while turning the bottle counterclockwise, drip the wax over the cork to seal it. Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed and no animals or people will dig it up. This spell is like a genie in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the spell is lost.


A Spell To Break The Powers of a Spell
If you believe that a spell has been cast against you, place a large black candle in the cauldron (or a large black bowl). The candles must be tall enough to extend a few inches above the cauldron's rim. Affix the candle to the bottom of the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so that it will not tip over.
Fill the cauldron to the rim with fresh water, without wetting the candle's wick. An inch or two should remain above the water. Deeply breathe, meditate, clear your mind and light the candle. Visualize the suspected spell's power as residing within the candle's flame. Sit in quiet contemplation of the candle and visualize the power flowing and growing within the candle's flame. (Yes, the power against you) As the candle burns down, it's flame will eventually sputter and go out as it contacts the water. As soon as the flame has been extinguished by the water, the spell will be dispersed. Break your visualization of the spell's power; see it explode into dust, becomin impotent. Pour the water into a hole in the ground, a lake or stream. Bury the candle. It is done.
